Less cost, less maintenance and simple installation

Our range of fibre-reinforced plastic / polymer (called FRP or GRP) is the perfect solution for mining sites and industrial areas. FRP or GRP is a composite material that’s used across mining sites all around Australia. Its unique mixture of fibreglass and resin means that it’s extra strong, lasts longer than traditional materials, is cheap to manufacture and supply and can be supplied in ready-made sizes or custom fit.

What products are available?

GRP specialises in ready-to-install, prefabricated GRP components. This means you’re able to purchase building materials in pre-defined sizes and shapes. Our most popular ranges are our moulded gratings and handrail systems and will easily fit into existing building projects and can be installed with readily available tools (drill, circular saw, jig saw, reciprocating saw and hand grinder).

What are the benefits of using GRP building materials?

There are many benefits to using GRP building materials over traditional wooden or metal structures – here’s just a few of the benefits:-

Minimal Maintenance
Because GRP grating is made from resin and fibreglass it’s incredibly strong and hard wearing. This means less time maintaining or replacing materials.

fire resistant
GRP materials are fire resistant and have an extremely low flame spread meaning that the chances of fire breakouts in areas where these building materials are used are greatly reduced.

Strong AND flexible
Because of the unique properties of GRP building materials, it’s strong, lightweight and flexible. This is a combination that enables our products to have a greater load bearing capacity.

Resistant to corrosion and deterioration
Other building materials like wood and steel are susceptible to damage from natural and man-made elements and can weaken, break, corrode or lose their tensile strength over time. GRP building materials are the perfect match when working in markedly corrosive settings.
